Announcing the all new Prestige 18 and 32 kW boilers

Take a look at the new generation of Prestige boilers, the third since the product was launched: an significantly updated design that keeps the proven and distinctive technology of the first two generations at its heart.

ACV’s Prestige boilers have proven themselves for ten years as among the most reliable and efficient wall mounted gas boilers available on the market.  The new generation of Prestige boilers, the third since the product was launched, updates the design while keeping proven and distinctive technologies at heart.  The ‘Solo’ model is designed forheating applications, while the ‘Excellence’ model incorporates ACV’s renowned stainless steel tank-in-tank hot water cylinder.  Both are built around ACV’s unique stainless steel heat exchanger: designed to be self cleaning and offering a long operating life with high efficiency.

Philippe Coulon, responsible for the development of the new Prestige boilers, explains the design priorities for the product: “The new Prestige is one of the most significant updates ACV has ever made to an existing line of products.  By taking account a decade of field experience during the two years of development in the lab, we have been able to identify where the Prestige could be improved in terms of its user and installer friendliness, while leaving many of its most appreciated features intact.  We have also worked hard to ensure that the Prestige continues to be among the lowest emission gas boilers in its class.”

Rudy Magerman, Export Manager at ACV International, comments on the new look of the Prestige boilers: “ACV products are well known and appreciated by ‘insiders’ for their quality components and no-nonsense long lasting reliability and performance.  We have developed a new look which communicates these values on the outside of the product.  Anyone familiar with the existing Prestige boilers will immediately notice the new interface panel, bordered by a protective stainless steel face plate.  The new Prestige is the first product to show this new design for its jacket and controls which will be extended across the entire ACV product family.”

Philippe Coulon adds: “Simplified user controls allow intuitive adjustment of water or heating temperature.  A reassuring blue glow signals all is well with the boiler.  Behind this simple and aesthetic front panel is a gas boiler of exceptional adaptability: installers can connect a PC to adjust almost any conceivable parameter with an easy-to-use software interface. Additionally we have foreseen the possibility to set-up and control the boiler via the Internet: sure to be of interest in managed facilities or for the more technologically inclined home owner.”

“The interior layout is the result of careful study to ensure that all key components are easily accessible.  The new Prestige can be completely enclosed for access uniquely from the front, or alternatively from the side.  A new optional mounting bracket ensures that the hydraulics can be accurately installed prior to fitting the boiler.”

Herman Ulens, Director of Product Engineering “The new Prestige boiler is particularly well adapted to new stringent norms: by achieving a power modulation of one-to-six it consumes as little as 3kW, ideal for well insulated modern buildings, while reaching class leading low levels of emissions: below 40 mg NOx per kWh.”

“We’re proud of what this new boiler represents: the continuation of a highly successful model, now updated to new technological standards.”
