Based on decades of experience and confidence in our high quality manufacturing in Belgium, ACV proposes a lifetime guarantee for all hot water tanks in the SMART range from 100 to 400L
ACV commits to ensuring that our customers are able to enjoy a perfectly functioning SMART tank over the entire lifetime of its operation. The guarantee covers products installed in Belgium only and is limited to the supply and delivery of a new replacement tank; installation costs are not covered.
The guarantee is extended to the purchasing customer for the residence in which the SMART tank is initially installed, and ends if the building changes ownership or in the event of the death of the signatory to the guarantee. A list of exclusions to the guarantee (which is the same as for the minimum legal guarantee of 2 years) is available by clicking here.
Make sure to register your SMART for the Lifetime Guarantee, within three months of the purchase date!
EXCLUSIONS
All claims against this lifetime guarantee require a valid proof of purchase;
Modifications made to the equipment without the prior-approval of ACV;
Failure of the equipment due to improper usage or negligence, accident, freezing or improper repair;
Installation non-conform to legally imposed standards or ACV specifications;
Insufficient maintenance;
External corrosion caused by an element exterior to the equipment;
Corrosion caused by poor quality water within the heating circuit: concentration of oxygen (multiple refills);
Electrical elements, such as the thermostat, heating coil or probe are not covered by the lifetime guarantee;
Stainless steel tank over-pressurized:
Faulty security valve;
Failure to observe correct filling instructions;
Incorrect hydraulic connections;
Water quality outside quality parameters
Chlorine: < 150mg / L (Inox304);
6 < pH < 8;
Aesthetic issues of no relevant consequence to the proper functioning of the equipment;
Guarantee limited to tanks with capacity in the range of 100 litres to 400 litres.
