Space-saving high volume direct-fired water heater WaterMaster shortlisted for H&V News Awards
ACV’s water heater, WaterMaster, has been shortlisted for the Commercial HVAC Product of the Year H&V News Award.
The H&V News Awards is one of the biggest events in the building services industry. It gathers industry professionals from across the sector to celebrate innovators and high achievers.
After a successful launch to the UK last year, ACV’s water heater WaterMaster has been shortlisted for the Commercial HVAC product of the Year H&V News Award. With a small physical footprint and storage volume while delivering high volume domestic hot water, the compact water heater is ideal for compact plant rooms where floor space is at a premium.
What sets it apart from other products is the innovative tank-in-tank technology, a large heat transfer surface area that allows downsizing the storage capacity, saving room and energy without compromising performance. High efficiency is guaranteed thanks to a passive flue gas recovery unit which preheats the cold inlet as well as lower volume of hot water storage while maintaining a high volume output.
From a safety point of view, the tank in tank technology used in the water heater ensures bacteria formation such as Legionella is prevented.
The WaterMaster offers industry leading efficiency and performance for a product which is one of the most compact and light weight water heaters in its class on the market. All models are ErP-compliant and have NOx emissions of <40mg/kwh. It is also backed by a 10-year warranty on the stainless steel heat exchanger. ACV give full technical assistance from site survey for correct (most efficient) sizing and specification and design through to commissioning.
On 25 April 2019, the 25th Anniversary H&V News Awards will take place at Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The Commercial HVAC product of the Year Award is sponsored by Smith Brothers Stores.
